July 24: Tim Oboczky | Men's Ministry Leader at Harvest
Tim first walked through the doors of Harvest with his family during VBS 10 years ago (2012) as Tim's heart was turning to God! His love of the Lord and desire to know Him more continued through the years with us and then led him to seek ministry opportunities and further education. Tim moved back to Lake County and returned to Harvest a little over a year ago. We are so glad to have the Oboczkys as our family and Tim leading our men into a deeper walk with Jesus! We are kicking off Summer Revival with a tailgate after the service! Come and bring your lunch! Set up by your car, in the pavillion or on the lawn. We will have a grill available for you to use.

July 31: Dennis Turner | Director of Church Mobilization for the Central District of the C&MA
Dennis grew up in Mansfield, OH and trusted Christ as Savior when he was 18. He began his ministry in the Central District as a youth pastor at North Woodbury Alliance. After serving four years there, he planted NewLife Community Church where he served as lead pastor for 20 years. Dennis joined the district team in 2018. He and his wife Lori were married in 1994 and have two adult daughters. Dennis has been with us at Harvest several times and we welcome him and Lori back again! Meet us in the Activity Center at 8:45am to walk through the neighborhoods surrounding Harvest. We are praying for each household and leaving a note at each home.

August 7: Geary Lutz | Director of Family Ministry at Erieside Church
Geary grew up at Harvest Community Church and is the loving son of Mike and Callie Lutz! He accepted the Lord at a young age and as an adut began to work with the youth and accepted the position of Associate Pastor at Harvest in 2016 until he was called out to a new ministry. Geary is married to Nicki and has 4 terrific kids. We welcome him "home" to share with us. Saturday evening, August 6, we will meet at the outdoor stage for a time of worship together. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket at 7:30pm.

August 14: Royce Gregory | Lead Pastor of Life Brand Cowboy Church
Pastor Royce was a bull rider for over 17 years. The Lord provided an opportunity 20 years ago for him to minister to cowboys behind the chutes. From there God led him to start Life Brand Cowboy Church in May 2006 after being a part of Lake Ridge/ Harvest for several years. He loves his family: wife, Patty and their daughter, Abigail and her husband, Stephen. Meet us in the Activity Center at 9:30am for pancakes and to support our youth! Also, wear your "country best" for Cowboy Sunday! Pull out your hats and boots!

August 21: Dr. Richard Peterson | Retired teacher from Mentor High School
Richard is a teacher, communicator and networker. He is happily married for 43 years to Karen. He also enjoys his son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters. Retired from active employment but "re-fired" as a follower of Jesus. The ice cream truck is coming to Harvest! The kids will each get a ticket for a simple treat. They can upgrade with some extra spending money...and grown-ups, bring some treat money!
We will also be "promoting" our kiddos to the next age group in Harvest Kids! |
