Our Laotian congregation is a cherished part of our church family. Each week, individuals and families of Laotian heritage gather to worship God together in the Laotian language. The service includes biblical teaching, worship, and prayer, along with meaningful expressions of Laotian culture that create a warm and familiar environment for those who attend.
Before the service, the group joins the broader church family in the Activity Center for coffee, light refreshments, and fellowship, building connections across cultures and generations. Their service is held in the Celebrate Recovery Room located near the kitchen.
Children are welcome! We offer children’s ministry from nursery through 5th grade, and families are invited to check their children into our English-speaking kids’ classrooms during the service.
The Laotian ministry is lovingly shepherded by Pastor Ounkham and his wife, Chansakhone, former Laotian refugees who joyfully share their story of God’s faithfulness and the journey that brought them to Madison, Ohio. They lead the congregation with deep love, grace, and truth.
This community is committed to encouraging one another, praying together, and supporting one another in their faith. They also gather regularly for shared meals and fellowship.
Whether you are of Laotian descent or simply interested in experiencing worship through this beautiful cultural lens, you are warmly invited to visit and become part of this welcoming community.
